FAQ:  How Long Will it Take to Design My Website?

Answer:

Websites vary enormously in content and complexity.  This has a great impact on how long it takes to design a website.  Another factor is how prepared the client is with their content for the site.  The time involved to create them is a reflection of these two things.

Since much of the process involves back and forth communication between our team and you, it is not possible to give an exact time frame.  Instead of making unrealistic false promises (like many website design companies) we would prefer to give you a more true timeline expectation.   From our experience, here are a few rough timetables:

In most cases it usually takes about 3-4 weeks for a small site with up to 5 pages.

For larger sites with interactivity, rich graphic content, flash animation, original photography or advanced programming it can take 5 weeks or more.

A large e-commerce or database driven site will usually take 10 weeks or more.

Of course, there have been cases where we have been able to design a client's website in less time due to it being a less complex site, and the client being very prepared, but in most cases it takes longer.

Domain Name Registration only takes a few days.
